Since the release of ARC Raiders Riven Tides, the new ARC Turbine has been a formidable opponent, and defeating it for rewards is often not as easy as it seems. Now, IGGM will introduce two highly effective strategies: the long-range kiting method and Barricade Kit combined with Hullcracker. Let’s explore!
Strategy One: Long-Range Kiting
You can probably guess what this method is all about, right? The core idea is to maintain a sufficient distance, using buildings or terrain as cover, and then continuously using high-damage weapons to wear down Turbine’s armor until you see it destroyed.
When using this strategy, IGGM highly recommends choosing Jupiter as your primary weapon, as it deals extremely high damage to ARC enemy armor. Approximately five magazines, plus Wolfpack, are enough to defeat a Turbine.
Of course, if you don’t have a Jupiter, you can use Equalizer, but it will consume more ammo and require a longer fight.
Both of these weapons are best suited for this battle. If you don’t have them, it’s best to farm ARC Raiders blueprints as soon as possible to craft them and ensure victory.
In actual gameplay, your first step is to find a building that provides cover. You can hide inside or stand on a rooftop, then continuously fire at Turbine’s armored sections from a distance. If you see large pieces of armor falling, it means your firepower is effective.
At the same time, you need to be constantly aware of Turbine’s lightning and explosive attacks, which is one of the reasons it’s so threatening. But don’t worry, as long as you’re far enough away, its attacks will generally miss you.
If you have multiple teammates firing together, the situation will be even clearer. You can distribute Turbine’s firepower, preventing it from focusing its attacks on one person, diverting its attention, and increasing your chances of victory.
The advantage of this long-range kiting strategy is its high safety, with almost no injuries. However, its main drawback is the long time commitment and significant ammunition consumption.
Additionally, you’ll need to compete with your teammates for Turbine Compressors, which, like ARC Raiders blueprints, are core materials for crafting Epic gadgets.
If you can accept this time and resource consumption, as well as the competition, then this method is for you.
Strategy Two: Barricade Kit and Hullcracker Combination
Also safe, but IGGM believes this strategy requires more player skill.
Its core lies in utilizing Barricade Kit to magically and completely block Turbine’s lightning attacks. Since its lightning attacks only strike the player in a straight line, a single Barricade Kit is enough to ensure you take zero damage while hiding behind it.
The specific operational procedure for this strategy is as follows: First, you need to patiently wait for Turbine to land, as it will expose its core weakness once it lands.
As soon as it begins to descend, immediately place one or two Barricade Kits in front of you. Placing two Barricade Kits would be safer; placing only one still carries the risk of being struck by lightning. Then, hide behind Barricade Kit.
When Turbine begins releasing lightning, you’ll be amazed to find that all the lightning is blocked by Barricade Kit, preventing you from taking any damage.
Now, pay attention: while Turbine is exposed, immediately pull out Hullcracker. If you don’t have one yet, you can buy ARC Raiders blueprints from IGGM.com to craft it quickly; 90% of orders can be delivered within 15 minutes, ensuring no delays in your battle. Then, unleash a barrage of fire on Turbine. Hullcracker deals extremely high damage to Turbines, even far exceeding Jupiter’s .

If Turbine is knocked away, simply stop attacking, and it will stop attacking you. Then, retrieve Barricade Kit and wait for it to land again, repeating the above steps.
Usually, two to three landings will kill Turbine, and the last landing can even be a one-shot kill. Afterward, don’t forget to loot its corpse; you can recover about half of the used ammo, making it quite cost-effective.
The advantage of using Barricade Kit and Hullcracker combination is that it offers high ammo recovery while maintaining safety. The disadvantage is that you must wait for Turbine to land, making the overall combat pace slightly slower than the ranged kiting method.
Other Methods and Risk Warnings
There are also some higher-risk methods that players are aware of, but IGGM advises against attempting. These include using Deadlines or jumping onto the top of the Turbine to plant explosives.
While these methods can destroy Turbine, attempting to jump onto it to plant explosives will inevitably result in burn damage during the climbing and placement process. Even if you manage to jump down alive, your health will be very low.
Especially if Turbine unleashes a lightning attack at this time, your chances of survival will be even slimmer. Therefore, for most players, the two safer methods described earlier should be prioritized.
The Real Shortcut
If you’re struggling to master either of these strategies but still desperately want Turbine Compressor – after all, it’s one of the most important materials for crafting Powered Descender besides ARC Raiders blueprints – there’s a little shortcut you can try.
You can obtain Turbine Compressor without touching Turbine. This is because it can also be found from ARC Couriers. The probability of finding Turbine Compressor is even higher during Electromagnetic Storm.
These are the effective strategies for defeating ARC Turbines brought to you by IGGM. We hope you have a successful battle in the game!
